Omaha Adult Entertainment: Review: Into Temptation
The noir comes from the priest’s descent into the seedy world of pornography and prostitution. Linda Salerno (Kristin Chenoweth) is a high-end hooker who meets with a series of men in hotels. She’s alone and in great emotional pain, and starts leaving her clients letters to tell them she is quitting.
Father John Buerlein (Jeremy Sisto) is more than a little naive as he wanders into Linda’s world, uncertain how to proceed when he goes into a porn shop and produces his business card declaring himself to be a priest.
But he is persistent and along the way finds an odd congregation to assist him: a librarian who knows more about the dark side of life than one would expect, a hooker who likes to talk, a pimp who quotes Robert Frost and a fellow priest who tries to guide him on his quest and keep him from getting booted from the old downtown church.
